Participants of all abilities can run, walk, skip or trot the scenic marked trail. For an added challenge there are also hills, river crossings, climbing walls, tunnels, tires, hay bales, and other obstacles along the way.
The Mud Run finishes with the main attraction: a mud pit that is 50-feet of the wettest, sloppiest, gooiest Canadian mud that you are ever likely to find. It’s cool, it’s fun, it’s permission to get wet and dirty. Spectators welcome!

The Mud Run is a challenging 10K run with hills, tire obstacles, river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final 30-foot mud pit. This is the most fun you can have running a 10K! Go as a spectator and wallow after the race.

This event has many obstacles that have been surrounded by mud or consist entirely of mud. The web site heading "Required Race Gear" states that all participants must wear long pants and boots or shoes that cover the ankle, for their own safety. Since most participants also wear a shirt, this is definitely a fully clothed wet and muddy event. www.mudrundfw.com

Muddy Buddy is all about having fun with a friend, family member, partner or co-worker! Teams of two traverse a 6-7 mile off-road course and 5 obstacles.
At the start of the race, one team member will run and one will ride the bike. At the 1st obstacle, the rider will drop the bike, complete the obstacle, and begin running. The runner will arrive, complete the obstacle, find their bike and begin riding. Teams will continue leapfrogging each other through the entire course.
At the end of the race, racers crawl through the infamous Mud Pit crossing the finish line together as official “Muddy Buddies”!
