Wet hair was my initial fascination. I used to fantasize about having long hair, years before I finally grew it out. Taking fully-clothed baths and showers came along later, early teens I guess. Way back when, it used to be so naughty and exciting, but the bathroom is too cramped and the bath too shallow now! I don’t get wet often now, but I’ve made use of rivers to cool down on hot days while walking, these last few years, and sometimes just to get soaked for fun (not that it’s exactly fun doing it alone).
(I don’t wade into water now, as I’m trying to take better care of my walking shoes, but my last pair of shoes got a lot of soakings!)
Still, wet hair fascinates me more than wet clothes …
