Funny you mention puberty, because I honestly have no recollection of it at all. What’s really strange is that I’m a fairly hairy guy (not excessively thick or dense, but covering places women apparently don’t care for it — shoulders, back!) and to the best that I can recall, I just seemed to notice one day in my 20s or 30s that I was really hairy, with no idea where it all came from. I either noticed and then forgot, or never noticed …
(The only thing I was definitely aware of was my moustache, because I never shaved that at school.)
The real question is going to be how these fellows handle getting wet within their relationships: whether they simply consider it a separate matter, with no need to share it with their girlfriends (or boyfriends), or whether they come unstuck if their girlfriends don’t share their enthusiasm.
