I wish people didnt think they had to wear proper swimwear in situatiions like this :) It's not like a public indoor pool where you mustn't muck up the pH or deplete the chlorine with phosphates from cotton outfits. It's more fun to drench your clothes as long as it's not windy - if it is, wear an acrylic layer underneath for its "wicking" properties :) Hmm, scottish women are usually quite daring and impulsive (my friend Valerie was) perhaps she had to go somewhere important afterwards and couldn't get wet. "Normal" behaviour is mindless, which is why I try to lead by example to stamp it out :) Always fill your soul with wonderful things :)
