Yep, yo can get all the way to Sheffield fom St.Pancras on it without changing (or taking a towel, grin) Not having a car, I've always tended to go anywhere too far or tricky to walk to by train :) Especially with a senior railcard (which makes London (£50) and Skeggy (£18) affordable. Hmm, you can now triangulate and discover where I live, lol. Beaches are best experienced by running into the incoming waves (with all your clothes on , and no towel or change of clothes... weeee) up to your waist, then twirling round until you trip over or get knocked over by a big wave, and go right under (with an optional shriek or sigh of delight) then flipping over onto your back and watching your clothes float round you and/or cling to you :) Then proceed with either of the three backstrokes (back crawl, old english (back breast), and back fly. Lie back and enjoy it, lol. Then flip over and do breast (or crawl if the waves are calm) or fly if you're energetic :)
