Even woohoo’ing a non-random woman carries a risk of pregnancy and that scares me, as well as introduces confusion about relationship functionality. The reason why I stay in my shell normally is not simple shyness, but because trying to engage with another person’s life introduces a huge array of compatibility problems, and I am not emotionally equipped to handle that kind of psychological load. This would be of little concern with the ideal woman, but then you have to contemplate the statistics. The only option ends up being to just keep to oneself, and that’s no fun.
