I have trouble understanding the emptiness in how most people seem to approach anything. Getting wet fully clothed in particular means little to anyone — where is the passion, the desire to embrace the experience for as long as possible? If I were to become a normal person, I would end up condemned to a soul without depth, and that hurts. I guess that’s why even playing with fire went out; it’s so rare to be let into anyone’s soul.
With regards my question “To return, or not to return?” (by which I meant the water, not the forum) — the emptiness of going alone would take its toll before long, although that applies in both cases: as I noted, I don’t belong here either.
I cannot reconcile my tendency to derive satisfaction from technical pursuits with the cravings for intimacy and passion: they are diametrically opposed sides of life and diametrically opposed sides of me.
There is no appeal to me in anything New Age. I won’t condemn your approach to life but it really is not for me in the slightest.
