All these things are a matter of statistics. Our chances are higher the more conventional we are; us outliers have a harder time because compatible men and women are just rarer.
It also depends what is meant by “maturity”. You can be a mature and responsible adult yet still have a child-like sense of fun. My instinctive reaction would be that the remark related more to one’s underlying maturity: being able to handle adult matters in an adult way, e.g. outlook and approach to holding a proper job, maturity in how you handle relationships, and how you deal with all the problems that you face in life.
However, that is only a guess considering that I never saw the rest of the video.
I do not, however, have an appealing level of maturity even by what I outlined!
