I read somewhere that polymer-based fabrics are better for getting wet in because they don’t stick to you, and they dry faster. However, from a microplastics perspective I feel more comfortable opting for cotton clothing, and honestly a pure cotton t-shirt is fine, just cold in the shade where there is a cool wind blowing. Any discomfort does not, in my mind, justify the use of plastics instead of natural fibres!
